No Managers Day

The first Thing thats comes to my mind when i dont see any managers is "WOW". My supervisors are painfully friendly. They very sweetly ask for reports whitin 15min to 1/2 hr which will take more than an hour to prepare. The more the supervisors the more reports they ask for the same data.

Its almost like i take a picture of a Glass on a Table and send it, Different managers ask for different angles of the photograph. Some go to the extent of sending in assumptions and asking if we have NW light falling and u take a picture from SE then show me how it looks.

So what do i learn from this, Never Send Any Report Voluntarily. You get appreciated for the analysis you have made and additionally get bombarded with requests for more complicated analysis.

My To-Do List for Today:
1) Check if all 15 agents Login to Phones ( Thank God- All logged in and present)
I have 25 members in my team only 15 are staffed today.
2) Update Team DashBoard
3)Update AMO's Dashboard
4) Monitor 4 Calls
5) Mail agents on MTD Stats
6) Update Start of the week, Extra miler
7) Put one agent on PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) for not meeting his CSAT targets
for consecutive 4 weeks.

I cant think or more but i am sure at the end of this day i will be doing a lot more than wrote above.

It looks simple and well planned. I look like a very organised guy with a To-Do List.

Well!!.

Just wait and see how the things change the moment one of my managers walk in.
It would look like a tough task to meet even 3 of them.

I always found it strange how people could open up in an online world. i just stumbled upon this blog site. I finally fell into the lure of writing and creating my own space where i can air my thoughts.

I have been working for almost 2 1/2 years in this call center. It is still an experience to remember, I thought it would be helpful to re-collect and document what ever was/is/willbe going thru me.

It would not only contain my proffesional life but also personal life. Most of the time i stay at office and the timings actually insist on staying more in office than my house. I dont call my house a home because i stay alone. My parents stay very far from me.

I could never have imagined that almost close to 1000 people are now awake at 2:00am in the night to assist customers. We are in india and we support US of A customers. But now i am one of them lying awake assisting my team to assist the customers better.

I am a Team Leader. Taking care of people, process, product are my responsibilities. It has been an interesting experience. I joined as an associate and had been promoted to be a Team leader within a span of 2 years.

Well!! Mistakes happen.
